There’s now just a few hours left to get your tickets for tonight’s huge EuroMillions Mega Jackpot which is estimated to be £113 million.
National Lottery bosses are expected a huge last minute rush for tickets as everyone tries their luck, which could see them join the record books and become Britain’s biggest lottery winner.
A National Lottery spokesman said: “This week’s jackpot is a record-breaker and we know that Brits grab that Friday feeling on their way home from work by ensuring they are in with a chance for the giant jackpot.
“Preparations for the winner include staff who can all move to support the winner in an instant – it is a major undertaking. The EuroMillions rush means more money raised for Good Causes all over the UK, adding to the £24 billion raised to date.”
The current record holders for the largest British lottery win are Les and Sam Scadding and the Magnificient Seven syndicate who each won £45.5 million last November.
William Hill have offered odds of 12/1 for the odds of the EuroMillions winner to be from the UK.
